About the sound production on BEAST
The score to BEAST was composed and edited by Steve Tutt of PanEQ.
Steve Tutt has been composing music for over 25 years and although his recent focus has been predominantly in the dance and “Chillout” genres, he has composed heavily in other areas.

Director Chris Jupp gave Tutt complete creative freedom with regards to creating the sound track for BEAST. The director wanted the sound to be inspired by the film itself instead of some pre-requisite instructions which could potentially restrict the creativity.
Tutt said,
“One of my idols remains Peter Gabriel and I was keen to experiment with a fusion between the more classical sounds one would traditionally link to a movie such as BEAST, and the palette of extraordinary processed percussive sounds today’s technology can deliver.”
The trailer music provides an insight into this fusion, although this is only the tip of the iceberg.
